Oath (2020) – for electric guitar and electronics
Oath is the first post-Covid-19 code piece I made and it is a text-to-music translation of a historical text that I hold very dear in my heart. The coding was made with the help of an algorithm I developed with my friend and colleague, João Ceitil. The piece is dedicated to the memory of friend and composer Ben Clark.
